  • Is the BMW and MINI Military Sales Program associated with any of the programs currently available through the military PX/BX system?

    No, this program is independent and is sponsored directly by BMW in Munich; it is not connected with any other organization. The program was introduced over twenty years ago as a thank-you to U.S. military personnel serving in Germany, for their efforts in maintaining peace in Europe. Since that time the program has evolved into one of the most successful programs of its kind and now serves U.S. military personnel in several countries around the world.

  • Can I buy a new BMW or MINI through the Military Sales Program if I am stationed in the U.S.?

    No, to qualify for the program, your duty station must be located outside the continental U.S. and its territories, or you must be in possession of TDY/TAD orders at the time you place your order.


    USAA members and their families living in the U.S. may be eligible for special offers on the lease or purchase of a new BMW or MINI. If you are interested, then contact your dealer for full details on your exclusive BMW Manufacturer’s and MINI Manufacturer’s offer.

  • Is there a limit to the number of vehicles I can purchase through the Military Sales Program?

    Yes, upon signing the Conditions of Purchase for new vehicles, you are obligated to restrict your purchase to a certain amount. The Military Sales Program in Munich has the right to withdraw or amend orders.

  • Can DoD civilian employees and civilians contracted to the U.S. military participate in this programme?

    Yes, both groups qualify to participate in the program providing the person holds a valid U.S. military ID card and is assigned on official orders to a location outside the continental U.S. and its territories.

  • What about the paperwork?

    Your local BMW and MINI Military Sales agent will guide you through the process and support you with the paperwork.

  • Are prices in the program set, or do I have to negotiate in order to obtain the lowest possible price?

    No, it is not necessary to negotiate in order to obtain the lowest possible price. The Military Sales program has a uniform pricing, which is set in USD and cannot be modified by any agency.

  • May I custom order a BMW or MINI with my own option configuration?

    Yes, you can either custom order your new BMW or MINI, or choose from a range of stock vehicles for immediate delivery.

  • What kind of warranty comes with the car?

    The car comes with a 24-month/unlimited-mileage warranty in Europe and a 48-month/50,000-mile warranty in the U.S. Both warranties commence on the date the car is first registered. Your local BMW Military Sales dealer can offer additional service packages at extremely reasonable prices.

  • How do I get my BMW or MINI into the U.S.?

    If you have taken delivery of your BMW or MINI in Europe, you should take advantage of our home shipment program exclusively offered to you as part of the BMW Military Sales program.
